Dream Tally

The Reality Check program, without the paper packets.

What is Dream Tally?

Dream Tally will digitize the Reality Check program chambers run inside county school systems. Students work through career, housing, and budgeting stations on a device while volunteers guide the conversations, and balances calculate themselves. It will be an add-on to the Ambassador Program.

Why it exists

The problem it was built for.

Reality Check is one of the most valuable things a chamber does in its community — a day where students face the actual math of adult life, guided by local business owners at every station. It runs once a year at most, because the paperwork is the limiting factor. Removing that is the whole point.

In practice

When a chamber reaches for it.

  • Running Reality Check for more than one school a year
  • Freeing volunteers to mentor instead of checking arithmetic
  • Keeping a record of the youth programming your chamber delivered
  • Crediting ambassadors with points for the day they volunteered

What it includes

  • Station-based life simulation following the Reality Check format
  • Locally configurable careers, salaries, and costs
  • Volunteer hours flowing into the Ambassador Program
  • In active development — early chambers help shape it
