Challenges

Seasonal pushes with a clear finish line.

What are member challenges?

Challenges are time-boxed goals with defined objectives — attend a number of events, pass a number of referrals, log specific activities, or submit forms. Members or teams work toward tiers of completion, progress updates as they go, and finishing earns bonus points, badges, or a recognition title.

Why it exists

The problem it was built for.

Programs go flat in the long stretch between signature events. Challenges exist to create a reason to engage in March — a time-boxed goal with a name, a deadline, and a reward, which is a much easier ask than "please participate more."

In practice

When a chamber reaches for it.

  • Running a seasonal campaign like a spring social blitz or a summer connector push
  • Focusing attention on one behavior for a month without permanently changing point values
  • Onboarding new members with a first-90-days checklist as a challenge
  • Setting up a permanent challenge that anyone can complete whenever they join

What it includes

  • Objective types: attendance, referrals, specific activities, and form submissions
  • Individual or team challenges, scoped to member groups
  • Multiple completion tiers with escalating rewards
  • One-time, weekly, monthly, seasonal, or permanent
  • Bonus point multipliers and per-tier badges
  • Live progress tracking and a completion history
