Achievement badges

Collectible proof of what someone has actually done.

What are achievement badges?

Badges are named awards members unlock by meeting criteria you define — attendance counts, points thresholds, leads passed, forms submitted, or consistency over time. Your chamber builds its own badge catalog, designs each badge in the app or uploads artwork, and members collect and share what they earn.

Why it exists

The problem it was built for.

Points answer "how much," but they don't answer "what did you accomplish." Badges do — and unlike a leaderboard, they aren't zero-sum: everyone can earn the same badge, which makes them the one recognition mechanic that reaches quiet contributors as reliably as competitive ones.

In practice

When a chamber reaches for it.

  • Marking service milestones — one year, three years, five years as an ambassador
  • Recognizing a first recruit or a tenth renewal so early wins get celebrated
  • Giving members something genuinely shareable on social media
  • Naming a badge after a sponsor for recurring, positive brand association

What it includes

  • Chamber-authored badge catalog with your own names and criteria
  • Criteria types: attendance, leads, points, forms, and consistency
  • In-app badge designer, or upload your own artwork
  • Progress tracking so members see how close they are
  • Rarity reporting — how many members hold each badge
  • Share cards for posting a badge outside the app
  • Badges also attach to streak milestones and challenge tiers
