Engagement nudges
Catches fading members before they become former members.
Requires Messaging is delivered through the Events & Notifications package.
What are engagement nudges?
Nudges watch for disengagement — a member going inactive, points activity stopping, RSVPs dropping off — and automatically send a re-engagement message. Rules and frequency caps are set per chamber, members can opt out, and the platform reports whether nudged members actually returned.
Why it exists
The problem it was built for.
Retention decisions get made quietly, in the weeks when nobody hears from a member. Nobody has time to notice every drop-off manually, so nudges automate the noticing — and then measure whether the outreach actually brought anyone back.
In practice
When a chamber reaches for it.
- Reaching a member who hasn't logged anything in a few weeks, before renewal comes up
- Following up on a member whose event attendance has quietly stopped
- Running retention outreach without adding it to someone's weekly to-do list
- Proving to leadership that re-engagement outreach works, with return-rate numbers
What it includes
- Triggers: days inactive, no points activity, and RSVP drop-off
- Configurable thresholds, lookback window, and frequency cap
- Per-member opt-out honored automatically
- Metrics for sent, opened, responded, and returned-to-activity
- Return attribution when a nudged member logs activity again
